  • Ongoing need due to staffing shortages in OB clinic
  • Inpatient call-only coverage with manageable daily volume
  • Opportunity for long-term placement as part of coverage pool
Requirements NC license Board Certified or Board Eligible in OBGYN ACLS Clean history Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Type of Coverage: Call Only Schedule: 24-hour call shifts as assigned Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time: 30 minutes Call Ratio: 1:3 EMR: Paragon Clinical Details Patients Per Shift: 2-5 Admissions: 1 Call Back: ~60% Phone Consults: 3-6 Department Beds: 11 Support Staff: 3 RNs, 15 office staff Skills Needed Low- and high-risk pregnancy management FHR interpretation and OB ultrasounds (Level I & II) Amniocentesis Vaginal, forceps-assisted, C-sections, breech, multiple births Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Surgical gynecology: open, laparoscopic (minor), operative/major procedures Compensation Info Rates: Not published - facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided and paid for by Archway Locums Travel Expenses: Reimbursed
