Join a dedicated team at a community hospital providing full-time locum tenens OB/GYN coverage. The role involves hospital and clinic duties with a balanced mix of low and high-risk obstetrics, vaginal and C-section deliveries, and outpatient gynecology care.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, forceps, C-section)
• Supervise certified nurse midwives during first call coverage
• Manage office-based gynecologic procedures including minor surgery and diagnostic laparoscopy
• Interpret fetal heart monitoring and perform OB ultrasounds
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and follow hospital transfer protocols
Qualifications
• Colorado medical license or IMLC participation – Required
• COVID-19 vaccination – Required
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records
• Ability to provide full-time coverage (minimum 3 weeks/month)
Working Hours
• Clinic: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, 4 days per week
• Call schedule: 1 in 4 (approximately 8 call days/month)
• Weekend coverage as needed, but not required
Skills
• Strong communication and team collaboration
• Efficient management of clinic and hospital workflow
• Competency in Epic EMR system
• Ability to supervise mid-level providers
