Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist

Required Skills:
- Valid Kentucky medical license
- Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology, with a focus on hospital-based care
- Ability to perform C-sections and handle emergency gynecological procedures
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Clean background with no outstanding issues
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior hospitalist experience in OB/GYN
- Certification such as MFM (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) or related specialties
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and emergency response procedures
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years of OB/GYN clinical practice, with recent hospitalist experience preferred
- Active KY medical license without restrictions
Other Requirements:
- Candidates must be willing and able to drive to the hospital location (no airfare or remote candidates)
- Candidates are expected to work 24-hour shifts on-site
- All communication will be maintained through LocumSmart; no phone calls or emails to the hospital or agency
- Must have a clean background with no prior legal or professional issues
- Necessary reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and related expenses, when applicable
