Overview

An established hospital in Sullivan, Missouri is seeking a compassionate, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN physician to join a collaborative team. The hospital offers state-of-the-art facilities, advanced surgical technology, and a supportive community just an hour from St. Louis.

Practice Highlights

  • Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care across outpatient clinics and inpatient settings.

  • Manage a diverse patient panel: prenatal, delivery, postnatal care, gynecological surgeries, and preventative care.

  • Perform hospital rounds and coordinate with hospitalists to ensure continuity of care.

  • Work with a multidisciplinary team including primary care, pediatrics, CRNAs, advanced practice providers, and specialty consultants.

  • Access advanced technology, including robot-assisted surgery, ultrasound, colposcopy, and urodynamics.

  • Participate in a shared call schedule to balance patient care and work-life needs.

  • Mentor APPs and support staff, fostering a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in the Labor & Delivery unit.

  • Community-focused role at a critical access hospital serving a rural and underserved population.

  • Not accepting Locums candidates

  • Visa sponsorship available (J1 supported)

  • Not open to 1099 candidates

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in OB/GYN – REQUIRED

  • Missouri Medical License (or willingness to obtain) – REQUIRED

  • DEA, CSR/CDS – REQUIRED (must be active prior to start)

  • Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN experience – REQUIRED (2–5 years highly preferred)

  • Clean malpractice & license history highly preferred

  • Eligibility for visa support (J1 / H1B) considered

  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care

Schedule & Coverage

  • Outpatient & Inpatient mix with surgical procedures

  • Shared call schedule designed for balance

  • Participation in hospital rounds and outreach clinics
