Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician Opportunity in Sullivan, MO

BJC Medical Group Sullivan Clinic is seeking a compassionate, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join an established, collaborative team at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital. This facility offers state-of-the-art facilities and advanced surgical technology, all within a supportive community located just an hour from St. Louis, Missouri.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care in outpatient and inpatient settings, ensuring high-quality medical services.
• Diagnose, treat, and follow up on various women’s health issues, including prenatal, delivery, postnatal care, gynecological surgeries, and preventative care.
• Conduct inpatient hospital rounds and coordinate care coverage with hospitalists.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for integrated patient-centered care.
• Utilize advanced procedural rooms and robotic surgical technology.
• Participate in a shared call schedule to provide after-hours support.
• Document all medical histories, consultations, and treatment plans in compliance with legal requirements.
• Lead and mentor advanced practice providers and support staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Engage in continuous education and professional growth opportunities.
• Adhere to all BJC policies and safety protocols.
• Participate in hospital outreach efforts and quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve a community-focused role at a critical access hospital.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN.
• Pennsylvania medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• Two years of experience in OB/GYN (2-5 years preferred).
• DEA and CSR/CDS certifications (must be obtained prior to start).
• Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred).

License and Certification Requirements

• Must have Board Certification or eligibility in OB/GYN.
• DEA license required prior to start.
• CSR/CDS license required prior to start.
• Must be eligible for J1 visa sponsorship if applicable.
