Join Our Team as an OB/GYN Physician in Sullivan, MO

We are seeking a compassionate, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join an established, collaborative team at a modern facility offering state-of-the-art technologies and comprehensive healthcare services. Positioned an hour from St. Louis, Missouri, this critical access hospital provides advanced surgical options and a supportive community atmosphere focused on excellent patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care across outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage a diverse patient panel with various women’s health issues.
• Conduct regular inpatient hospital rounds and coordinate care continuity with hospitalists.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pediatricians, advanced practice providers, and specialty consultants.
• Utilize advanced surgical technology and procedural rooms for optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in a shared call schedule to balance after-hours support and personal time.
• Lead and mentor advanced practice providers and support staff to enhance collaborative care.
• Engage in continuous professional development and risk management initiatives.
• Document medical histories, procedures, and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly.
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts and hospital outreach programs.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Missouri medical license (or willing to obtain).
• Minimum of two years of experience in OB/GYN (2-5 years preferred).
• DEA and CSR/CDS required prior to the start date.
• Clean malpractice and license history is highly preferred.
• Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within the last 30 days) is required.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in OB/GYN.
• Current DEA certification.
• Current CSR/CDS certification.
• J1 or H1B visa support may be available for international candidates.
