Looking for a Locum OB/GYN Hospitalist to start on December 24, 2025!!
Schedule:
Start date: December 24, 2025
Patient Contact Hours: 7a-7a
Shift length: 24 hours (required)
NOTE: physicians can not work more than two 24-hour shifts in a row
On Call: 24/7 (in house call. call rooms are available.)

Job Responsibilities
Inpatient: Yes
Telehealth: No
Supervision of APPs expected: No
Number of exam rooms per provider: 8 bed OBED
Medical Imaging: Yes
Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
Clinic provider daily volume: 1389 visits to OBED per year, roughly 463 result in deliveries
MFM will be on call. There are residents but the OB Hospitalist will not be in charge of them.
No GYN responsibilities
EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities:
OBED patients
Emergent patients (vaginal deliveries and C-sections)
Patients without primary OBGYN
Only maternity transport team in Iowa
Qualifications
Board Certified
Active IA License (STRONGLY preferred) or Active IMLC - (please upload LOQ at time of name clear)
Provider must be able to start December 24, 2025

Working Hours
7a-7a 24 hour call - 6.5 shifts per month
