Job Responsibilities
Deliveries (average one per day; approx. 360 births/year)
1:4 call rotation (weekday and weekend)
Meditech Expanse EMR for documentation and patient management
APPs, nursing staff
Total Number of Beds: Staffed beds – 45, plus 20 room ED.
Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: N/A
Number of Physicians in Practice: 4
What Percentage of Practice is High Risk Pregnancy: Occasional high risk delivery. High risk deliveries are typically referred to tertiary centers.
Average Number of GYN Surgeries Per Day (If Applicable): N/A
What Percentage of Patients are C-Section: 30%
Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 1

Certification Requirement (BLS, ACLS, etc.): BLS, ACLS
What are the Required Obstetrics Procedures:
Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.) yes
High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease, etc.) no

Qualifications
Completion of an ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
Active Ohio medical license
Clean malpractice and licensure history
Recent clinical activity: Must have completed at least 50 deliveries in the past 12 months, including a minimum of 5 C-sections
Working Hours
OB call (7:00 a.m.–7:00 a.m.) for Labor & Delivery, surgical cases, and inpatient consults on the following dates: 10/31/25–11/3/25 and 1/2/26–1/5/26.
Weekend Requirements:
1:4 weekend call; includes OB/GYN responsibilities with average of one delivery per day
On Call Requirements:
1:4 call schedule; must report to hospital within 30 minutes when on call; average of one birth per day
