Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine exams, diagnostic testing, and management of complex cases.
- Perform gynecological surgeries such as hysterectomies, laparoscopic procedures, and other minimally invasive surgeries.
- Attend and manage labor and deliveries, with an average of approximately one birth per day (approximately 360 annually).
- Lead and assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric surgical procedures.
- Participate in a 1:4 call rotation, ensuring prompt response, with hospital reporting required within 30 minutes when on call.
- Travel between multiple clinic locations as needed to provide accessible patient care.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), nursing staff, and ancillary personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize Meditech Expanse EMR system for documentation, order entry, and patient management.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and patient-centered healthcare environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must possess or be eligible for Ohio medical licensure and board certification in OB/GYN.
- Candidates should be TRULY board eligible and actively working toward certification if within one year of graduation.
- Board certification must be achieved within the specified timeframe post-employment.
- Lapsed Board Certification candidates are not accepted.
- Open to recent graduates who are truly board eligible and pursuing certification.
- Must report to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call.
- Visa candidates are welcome to apply.
- Not accepting locum tenens candidates.
