Job Title: Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician
Mary Rutan Hospital, a well-established and community-focused healthcare organization located in Bellefontaine, Ohio, is actively seeking a full-time Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to join its dynamic medical team. Job Responsibilities:
- Work a 4-day clinical schedule with 1 administrative day (can be done from home)
- Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care
- Perform surgical procedures including cesarean sections and gynecologic surgeries
- Attend deliveries (average one per day; approx. 360 births/year)
- Participate in a 1:4 call rotation (weekday and weekend)
- Travel between multiple clinic locations (as needed)
- Use Meditech Expanse EMR for documentation and patient management
- Collaborate with other physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and ancillary services
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment
- Report to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call
Qualifications:
- TRULY Board Eligible (within 1 year of graduation) or Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Completion of an ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
- Clean malpractice/licensure history preferred
- DEA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- Must provide a recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active)
- Ability to report to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN (ABOG or AOA-accredited residency)
- DEA registration or willingness to obtain
