Join Our Team as an OB/GYN Physician in Bellefontaine, OH

Mary Rutan Hospital, a well-established and community-focused healthcare organization in Bellefontaine, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated full-time Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work a 4-day clinical schedule with 1 administrative day (remote work available)
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care
  • Perform surgical procedures including cesarean sections and gynecologic surgeries
  • Attend deliveries (approximately one per day; around 360 births/year)
  • Participate in a 1:4 call rotation (weekday and weekend)
  • Travel between multiple clinic locations as needed
  • Utilize Meditech Expanse EMR for documentation and patient management
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment
  • Report to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call
  • Must be Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible

Qualifications:

  • Must be Truly Board Eligible (within 1 year of graduation) or Board Certified in OB/GYN
  • Completion of an ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
  • Active Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain)
  • DEA license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Clean malpractice/licensure history preferred

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Board Certification or Truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN (ABOG or AOA-accredited residency)
  • Active DEA (or willingness to obtain)
  • Must become Board Certified within a required timeframe after starting the position
  • Open to visa candidates (J1 or H1B)
  • Candidates with lapsed Board Certification will be considered on a case-by-case basis
