Job Title: Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician

Mary Rutan Hospital, a well-established and community-focused healthcare organization located in Bellefontaine, Ohio, is actively seeking a full-time Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to join its dynamic medical team. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work a 4-day clinical schedule with 1 administrative day (can be done from home)
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care
  • Perform surgical procedures including cesarean sections and gynecologic surgeries
  • Attend deliveries (average one per day; approx. 360 births/year)
  • Participate in a 1:4 call rotation (weekday and weekend)
  • Travel between multiple clinic locations (as needed)
  • Use Meditech Expanse EMR for documentation and patient management
  • Collaborate with other physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and ancillary services
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment
  • Report to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call

Qualifications:

  • TRULY Board Eligible (within 1 year of graduation) or Board Certified in OB/GYN
  • Completion of an ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
  • Clean malpractice/licensure history preferred
  • DEA certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Must provide a recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active)
  • Ability to report to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN (ABOG or AOA-accredited residency)
  • DEA registration or willingness to obtain
