Locum Tenens – OB Hospitalist
Location: Clyde, North Carolina
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Call Only
Position Overview
- Call Ratio: 1:3
- Call Type: Beeper
- Response Time Requirement: 30 minutes
- EMR: Paragon
- Facility Beds: 11
- Patients Per Shift: 2–5
- Admissions: Required
- Rounding: Assigned & unassigned patients
- Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible – Required
- Licensure: Active North Carolina (NC) medical license – Required
- Certifications:
- ACLS – Required
- NRP – Required
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM): Minimum 2 years experience – Required
- OB clinic experiencing staffing shortages (FMLA, pending licensure)
- Currently only one delivering physician on staff
- Immediate Dates Needing Coverage:
- September 1–2, 2025
- September 11, 2025
- Additional dates in September TBD
