OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in California | Dates From January to March 2026 | Assignment #110934
Coverage Needed:-- January 5-7
-- January 14-15
-- January 19-20
-- February 11-12
-- February 14-20
-- March 16-22
Shift Description: 24-hour call, 7am-7am
Requirements:
--Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years
--Must be licensed in California
--DEA certified
--Proctoring is required for all appointees having interval or new privileges
Assignment Details:
--Average callback hours worked: 4-6 hours
--Hospital setting with dedicated Labor & Delivery floor, Family Birthing Center with own OR for C-sections
--Deliveries (around 25-40 per month), C-sections, emergency department coverage for OB/GYN-related issues
--EMR: Cerner
--Support staff: Anesthesiologists (1 on-call after hours and on weekends), general surgeons, 3 local OB/GYNs, 1 Family Medicine OB, Pediatrician on-call, respiratory therapists
--Credentialing timeline: minimum 10 days from completed application (Temporary privileges may be available)
