Job Description:
An established practice in Illinois is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN to provide both inpatient and outpatient care. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team and serve a medically underserved community.
Position Highlights:

Coverage: inpatient and outpatient services
-
Required Procedures:
-
Fetal monitoring, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
-
Low- & high-risk pregnancies (including twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis)
-
OB ultrasounds (performance & interpretation)
-
Deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiple births, VBACs, repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations)
-
Office/Minor GYN: IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP
-
Laparoscopic minor procedures: tubal ligation, LOAs, chromal tubation

Major/operative procedures: ectopic pregnancy, oophorectomy, cystectomy, extensive LOAs

Birthing Center:
-
16 LDRP rooms
-
Level II Nursery (0–3 admissions per day, 30% C-section rate)

Dedicated surgical suite
-
Onsite clinic a short walk from LDRP
-

Support: seasoned RNs, APPs (1 now, growing to 2), and experienced staff
-
EMR: Cerner (transitioning to Epic in 2025)

Call options to be discussed at interview

Not accepting locums or visa candidates

Open to new graduates (must be Board Eligible within 3 years and Board Certified within 1 year of employment)

Clean malpractice preferred

Submission Requirements:
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (within 3 years of residency; must achieve BC within 1 year of employment) – Required
-
Illinois medical license (or willing to obtain) – Required

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification – Required
-
Demonstrated experience with required OB/GYN procedures – Required

Clean malpractice record – Preferred
