Job description
Seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for locum coverage in Nebraska. This role involves a mix of clinic, labor & delivery, gynecologic surgery, and on-call coverage. Support staff and ultrasound available onsite. Coverage needed due to physician resignation.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage labor and delivery cases, including emergency obstetric care.
• Perform gynecologic surgeries in hospital and clinic settings.
• Participate in city call and provide CNM backup.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure patient-centered care.
Qualifications
• Completion of OB/GYN Residency – Required.
• Active Nebraska License or IMLC – Required.
• BLS, DEA, NRP, and CDS Certification – Required.
• Clean malpractice history preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience – Preferred.
Working Hours
• 24-hour call coverage required.
• Weekend and holiday call included.
• Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days.
Skills
• Strong surgical and delivery skills.
• Ability to manage high-acuity OB cases.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfort with both outpatient and inpatient care.
