MD Obstetrics & Gynecology – Locum Tenens
Start Date: August 25, 2025
Contract Length: 13 weeks (ongoing weekend need)
Coverage Type: Scheduled + 24-hour Call
Schedule & Shifts

Current need: July 30, 2025 (7 AM) – August 4, 2025 (7 AM)

Ongoing: 1 weekend per month (Friday 7 AM – Monday 7 AM)

Occasional weekday call coverage possible in the future

Shift length: 12 hours (7 AM – 7 PM standard)
Work Details

Outpatient hospital-based setting
-
Department beds: 72
-
Patient load: 20–25 per day
-
Procedures: Deliveries, C-sections, surgical procedures (e.g., hysterotomies)

Robotic skills preferred (DaVinci X onsite), not required
Requirements
-
Board Certified in OB/GYN
-
Active Indiana license (CSR + DEA required)

BLS required
-
Credentialing: 2 weeks

COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Ideal Candidate

Drive-in provider for weekend coverage

Comfortable with call-heavy schedule
-
Able to provide consistent weekend availability on an ongoing basis
