OB/GYN – Optional Clinic (Locum Tenens)
Start Date: As soon as credentialed (typically <30 days for locums)
Contract Length: 3 months with option to extend until position is permanently filled
Shift Details: 24-hour beeper call (off-site, 1:4 ratio) – optional clinic available if desired
Schedule & Coverage

Coverage need: 2–4 weeks per month

Patient population: All ages

Small facility; provider may be the primary/solo OB on site

Call volume varies: may be called in twice in a weekend or 6–7 times depending on volume

Average monthly volume: ~15 cases

EMR: Epic

Hospital bed size: 40 beds

Required: Laparoscopic GYN cases
Practice Setting

Acute care hospital

Support staff includes CNMs, CRNA for anesthesia, Family Medicine MD (handles newborn care), 2 full-time OB/GYNs, and 2 consistent locums
Requirements

Board Certified in OB/GYN

Active license (open to licensing)

DEA required
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience
- COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
