OBGYN – Call Coverage (Locum Tenens)

Contract Length: 6 months
Shift Details: 8 × 24-hour call shifts per month
Schedule & Coverage

All OB services on labor and delivery

Unassigned OB/GYN call for the hospital

Average monthly volume: ~70–75 deliveries and 20–25 non-obstetrical surgeries

EMR: Epic

Level II Nursery
Practice Setting

Mix of clinic and hospital
-
Support staff includes 5 BC OB/GYNs, 5 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife
Required Skills & Procedures

OB/GYN core services with minor GYN surgical
-
Board Certified – American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
-
Active Virginia license (no licensing assistance)

DEA required
-
Preferred certifications: EFM, NRP, PALS

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience (5+ years preferred)
Credentialing

Timeframe: 90–120 days
