Job description
Seeking a Board-Certified OBGYN for ongoing hospital call coverage in Indiana. The provider will handle only hospital-based call Friday through Monday morning, 1 weekend per month on an ongoing basis.
Job Responsibilities
Patients per day: 20–25
Beds in department: 72
Procedures: Deliveries, C-sections, surgical procedures as needed (hysterotomies, etc.)
Robotics: Da Vinci X available (robotic skills preferred, not required)
Privileging timeframe: ~2 weeks
Qualifications
Indiana license – Required
BLS, CSR, DEA – Required
Working Hours
Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM (weekend coverage only)
Ongoing 1 weekend/month need (additional weekday call may be requested in the future)
Skills
Labor & delivery management
Cesarean section (C-section) procedures
Gynecologic surgeries, including hysterotomies
Robotic surgery (Da Vinci X) – preferred but not required
Emergency OB/GYN care during 24-hour call
Inpatient patient management
High-volume patient handling (20–25/day)
Collaboration with hospital physicians and nursing staff
Rapid clinical decision-making in emergent situations
