Locums | OBGYN | Call Only | Winchester, KY (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

  • Provide inpatient call coverage in a supportive environment
  • Work with strong RN and staff support
  • Consistent demand for women’s health and deliveries
Assignment Details Start Date: 11/1/2025 End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Call Only Schedule: 8a–8a call shifts Patients per Day: 5 Call Details: Beeper, 30 min response, ratio 2, 30% callback, 6 phone consults, 1–2 patients seen, 1–2 admissions EMR: MEDHOST Requirements Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active KY license (IMLC accepted) ACLS Clean history Clinical Details Scope: Inpatient OBGYN call coverage Typical Procedures: - Low and high-risk pregnancy management - FHR interpretation and OB ultrasounds (Level I and II) - Routine vaginal delivery, low forceps, decision-making for c-sections - Complicated deliveries: c-section, breech, multiples, abruptions - Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations - Open and major operative gynecology procedures (ectopic, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA’s) Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
