Locums | OBGYN | Call Only | Granbury, TX Why This Role

  • Ongoing weekend call coverage starting in October
  • Balanced OB/GYN practice with full scope of deliveries and surgical cases
  • Supportive facility with local OB/GYNs sharing call rotation
Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Call Only Schedule: 9–10 call days per month, primarily weekends; Friday noon to Monday 7a Patients per Day: 2–4 (variable during call coverage) Call Details: Beeper call; 30-minute response time; 1:3 call ratio; 80% call back; 5–7 phone consults per shift EMR: Athena/Medhost Requirements Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active Texas license BLS and other certifications as required Clean history Clinical Details Scope: Full-scope obstetrics and gynecology with inpatient deliveries and surgical cases Typical Procedures/Responsibilities: Low-risk and high-risk obstetrics Fetal heart rate interpretation and OB ultrasound (screening level required) Routine deliveries including vaginal and assisted (low forceps) Cesarean sections, VBACs, breech, multiples, and complicated deliveries Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Gynecologic surgery including laparoscopic and open procedures (diagnostic and operative) Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
