Overview
An exciting inpatient OB/GYN opportunity in Iowa starting December 24, 2025. Providers will cover 24-hour in-house call at a leading medical center, supporting deliveries and emergent OB cases.

Practice Highlights

• Start Date: December 24, 2025

• Shift: 24-hour in-house call (7a–7a)

• Schedule Note: Providers may not work more than two consecutive 24-hour shifts

• Setting: Inpatient (OBED with 8 beds)

• Annual OBED Volume: ~1,389 visits, ~463 deliveries

• Responsibilities: OBED coverage, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, emergent OB patients, maternity transport team support

• No GYN responsibilities

• On-call MFM available

• EMR: Epic

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified (can consider truly Board Eligible) – REQUIRED

• Active IA license (strongly preferred) or Active IMLC – REQUIRED (LOQ needed at time of name clear)

• Availability to start December 24, 2025 – REQUIRED

• Clean malpractice and background – REQUIRED

Schedule & Coverage

• 24-hour call, in-house, with call rooms provided

• No supervision of APPs required

• Residents present, but OB Hospitalist will not be in charge of them
