- Coverage Type: Call Only
Clinical Details:
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- Admissions Required
- Patients Per Shift: 3-8
- Bed in Department: 12
- Rounding patients: unassigned and assigned
- EMR System: MediTech
- Call Type: Beeper with a 15 min response time required
- Avg Call # Per 24 Hr: Phone Consults: 5, Call Ratio: 1:4, Patients Seen: 3-5, Call Back Percentage: 25%, Admissions: 4
- Average Number of Deliveries per Year: 650
- PEDs Level: 2
- Support Staff: 2 RNs, 1 MA, Strong unit and provider support
Requirements:
- Board Certification: Eligible
- Fellowship - Preferred
- License: Must be licensed in NC
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP
- Provider must have a clean history
- Experience with circumcisions
- Must be able to perform these required skills: Low risk pregnancy, High risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation (Level I/Screening (viability), Level II/Targeted (anatomic)), Amniocentesis, Routine delivery (Vaginal, Decision-making for c-section), Complicated delivery (C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions), Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, Surgical gynecology -(Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation), Laser certification
