Job description
Bread and butter OBGYN locum opportunity in Virginia with strong locum-to-perm potential. The schedule includes clinic during weekdays and 24-hour call on weekends, with additional night call during the week. Provider must be comfortable working independently, including performing C-sections and ideally VBACs. Epic EMR. Clean background required.
Job Responsibilities
Qualifications
Virginia Medical License (required)
DEA license valid in VA (required)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
Experience with C-sections required
VBAC experience strongly preferred
Minimum experience: Open to all, though independence is a must
Clean background required (dismissed cases OK)
Working Hours
Weekend Call: Friday 7:00am – Monday 7:00am (24-hour in-house or beeper call based on hospital protocol)
Weeknight Call: Monday–Thursday, night call during clinic weeks
Expected Frequency: 2 weeks per month
Skills
Skilled in VBACs (preferred)
Comfortable working independently without APPs
Experience managing adult and neonatal patients
Familiarity with Epic EMR
Ability to respond to emergent OB/GYN situations
Strong communication and teamwork in hospital setting
Able to work in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
