Locums | OBGYN | Call Only | Lebanon, KY Why This Role

  • Immediate coverage need with potential for long-term assignment
  • Balanced inpatient and outpatient setting with strong nursing support
  • Wide scope including low- and high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, and surgical procedures
Assignment Details Start Date: September 15, 2025 End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Call Only Schedule: 24-hour beeper call, 1:2 rotation Current urgent need: Sept 28 (7am) – Oct 3 (7am) Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient EMR: MediTech Privileges: Required (temporary privileges available) Estimated Credentialing: 10 days Patient Volumes: ~5 patients per shift Department: 7 beds Trauma Level: I Support Staff: 19 RNs, 3 MAs, 3 APPs, 3 office staff Requirements Board Certified or Eligible in OB/GYN Active Kentucky license ACLS, BLS, PALS Clean file for privileging Clinical Details Obstetrics: - Low- and high-risk pregnancy care - FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE) - OB ultrasounds (Level I & II) - Amniocentesis - Vaginal and forceps delivery - C-section decision-making and performance - Complicated deliveries (breech, multiple births, abruptions) - Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Gynecology: - Office/minor procedures: IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP Surgical GYN: - Open - Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor (tubal ligation, LOA, chromal tubation) - Operative/major (ectopic, oophorectomy, cystectomy, LOA) Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
