Job description
We are seeking a full-time OB/GYN Hospitalist to provide comprehensive in-house coverage across three hospital campuses (one site per day). This role includes staffing residents on Labor & Delivery (L&D), performing gynecologic surgeries such as hysterectomies, managing clinic patients, and overseeing medically complex, high-risk pregnancies with advanced obstetrical surgeries.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 24/7 in-house OB hospitalist coverage with 12-hour shifts (days and nights), including weekends and holidays on a scheduled rotation

Supervise and teach residents during clinical care and educational sessions

Collaborate with Graduate Medical Education (GME) teams to enhance resident training and curricula

Deliver timely, quality obstetrical care in L&D units and emergency situations

Participate in system-wide OB hospitalist initiatives to improve care delivery

Support community health efforts, including care for underserved populations
Schedule:

12-hour shifts rotating between day and night coverage

Weekend and holiday rotations on a scheduled basis

Rotation between three hospital campuses required
Compensation & Benefits:

Starting salary: $300,000 with a guaranteed 5% annual increase

Negotiable sign-on bonus between $35,000 - $40,000

Candidate Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology (at least 2 years experience preferred; new grads from strong residencies considered)

Valid Ohio medical license (or willing to obtain)

Clean malpractice and license history

DEA certification (or willing to obtain)

Willingness to rotate between all three hospital campuses

Strong interest in team-based obstetrical care, education, and managing high-risk pregnancies
