Overview:
Health System in Columbus, OH is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN to join their dynamic academic hospitalist team. This is a permanent, full-time position providing coverage across three campuses (one site per shift), working closely with residents, and managing high-risk OB patients. This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about academic medicine and team-based obstetrical care.

Position Highlights:

  • Provide full-time in-house OB/GYN hospitalist coverage (12-hour shifts, day & night rotations, including weekends/holidays on a schedule)

  • Supervise residents on Labor & Delivery and in clinical settings

  • Manage high-risk pregnancies, perform advanced OB surgeries and gynecologic surgeries (including hysterectomy)

  • Participate in didactic teaching, GME curriculum development, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Work at a Level III NICU with a strong residency program affiliated with The Ohio State University

  • Play a key role in delivering timely, quality care to both general and underserved populations

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary: $300,000 with guaranteed 5% annual increases

  • Sign-on bonus: $35,000 – $40,000 (negotiable)

  • Comprehensive benefits starting Day 1

  • 27 days (216 hours) of PTO annually + holiday pay + rollover of unused hours (up to 40 hours)

Candidate Requirements:

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology (minimum 2 years’ experience preferred, but strong new grads welcome)

  • Active OH medical license or willingness to obtain

  • DEA certification (or ability to obtain)

  • Clean malpractice and license history

  • Strong interest in team-based care, medical education, and high-risk pregnancy management
