Job description
We're seeking a Board-Certified OBGYN to provide locum weekend call coverage in Missouri. This is a great opportunity for physicians interested in consistent weekend work with a light callback load.
Job Responsibilities
Perform rounding, consultations, deliveries, C-sections, and emergent GYN surgeries
Manage hospital call coverage for both OB and GYN patients
Work collaboratively with onsite staff
Respond to hospital within 15 minutes when called (call is not in-house)
No VBAC cases
Use Meditech Expanse for documentation
Qualifications
Active Missouri Medical License (Required)
Active DEA license
Minimum 2 years of post-residency clinical experience
Must pass a name-clear process before presentation
No licensing support available – must hold MO license at time of submission
Working Hours
Daily rounding: typically 2–4 hours/day
Light callback volume; call from home
Skills
C-section and emergent GYN surgical skills
Strong hospital communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to respond quickly to hospital calls (within 15 minutes)
EMR proficiency (Meditech Expanse preferred)
