Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB/GYN
Summary: We are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN physician for locum tenens coverage in Dickinson, ND. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential care in a hospital setting, specifically within Labor and Delivery, Operating Room, and Emergency Room environments. Candidates will be providing call coverage for 7 days per month during the months of October, November, and December, ensuring top-quality medical attention for patients in need.
Job Responsibilities:
- Attend deliveries and provide care during various OB/GYN complications.
- Perform C-sections and other required OB/GYN procedures.
- Offer support for any OB or GYN cases presenting in the ER.
- Work collaboratively with nursing and support staff, including Level II Nursery and Labor Nurses.
- Participate in call rotations and provide assistance when needed.
- Utilize Meditech EMR for patient documentation and management.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
- Must hold a current, valid North Dakota medical license by October 1.
- ACLS, PALS, DEA, and NRP certifications required.
- Preferred to have a clean malpractice history.
- Ability to work the required call schedule of 7 days per month.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in OB/GYN preferred.
- North Dakota State License (must be obtained by October 1).
- ACLS, PALS, DEA, and NRP certifications required.
