OBGYN Hospitalist - California Locums, 24-Hour Shifts
Join a Central Valley hospital with high delivery volume and flexible scheduling; no clinic or call.
Highlights
- 24-hour in-house OB shifts; pick your schedule
- Summer and fall blocks still open
- No clinic duties or routine GYN
Practice Setting
- Inpatient-only L&D coverage at a hospital with 4,600+ annual deliveries
- Level III NICU with 24/7 in-house anesthesia
- OB team includes residents, hospitalists, and community OBs
- CommonSpirit charting system
Schedule
- Multiple 24-hour shifts available each month
- 12-hour shifts may be possible based on availability
- No on-call duties beyond scheduled shift
- Block scheduling may be available
Cases and Procedures
- Labor and delivery focus
- Emergent GYN only; no outpatient or elective GYN
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in OBGYN
- Active California license (not IMLC eligible)
Travel Accommodations
- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
- All travel fully arranged
