OBGYN Residency Program Director needed in Kentucky * Located in *Bowling Green, KY* - just 66 miles from Nashville! * Full-time, permanent opening * Hospital-employed * 50/50 split of administrative and clinical * Lead an existing Residency Program * The Women's Health team offers the perfect balance of providing OB/GYN patient care, teaching future physicians, and enjoying the benefits of a flexible work/life program * Have the privilege of mentoring and teaching residents and get to be a part of the core faculty of the residency program * Brand new, state-of-the-art Women & Children's Services Facility * One of the largest obstetrics units in Kentucky * Expanded space for ante-partum, labor and delivery, cesarean suites, post-partum, and an ED dedicated solely to obstetrical patients * The region s only Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) * Private clinic facilities conveniently located near hospital * Desirable call schedule * Outstanding OR teams and support staff with dedicated OB anesthesia * All deliveries performed in single hospital * OB Hospitalist Group on site * Core faculty in the OB/GYN residency program * Partnership with a non-profit, FQHC that has served the local community since 2001 * 4 midwives to help hospital rounds, manage patients and routine labors * 24/7 in-house Neonatology - 16 bed, level II-B NICU managing ill infants and premature infants down to 28 weeks * Active robotic surgery program with two Da Vinci surgical robots with block surgery time available Roles/Responsibilities: * Participate in developing the curriculum and maintaining the didactics * Serve as a role model and mentor to OB/GYN residents * Assist with administrative duties, including resident recruitment, clinical competency committee, and program evaluation committee * Take initiatives in quality improvement projects and other research and scholarly activities * Teaching and administrative experience is highly desired Qualified Candidates/Details: * Must be board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology * Must have an active Kentucky medical license or be able to obtain an active Kentucky medical license prior to starting * Must have a minimum of three years documented educational and/or administrative experience as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited OBGYN residency program * Be willing to combine administrative, teaching, and clinical responsibilities * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Compensation & Benefits: * Competitive salary * Production/quality bonus potential * Sign on bonus * Relocation allowance * Visa sponsorship * CME allowance * Comprehensive health benefits * Student loan forgiveness * Residency stipends * Retirement savings plan with match * Malpractice with tail coverage * Competitive PTO About Bowling Green and South Central, Kentucky: Bowling Green, the third most populous city in the state of Kentucky, is located just 60 miles north of Nashville, Tennessee, and 110 miles south of Louisville.
