OBGYN Hospitalist - California Locums, 24-Hour Shifts
This inpatient-only hospitalist role in Central California offers flexible scheduling with full travel support and no clinic duties.
Highlights
- 24-hour shifts; 12s may be available
- Up to 30 shifts/month; you choose your schedule
- No outpatient work or clinic responsibilities
- Located in Central California with warm year-round weather
Practice Setting
- Large community hospital with Level III NICU
- Inpatient-only OB hospitalist model
- 24/7 in-house anesthesia
- Family Medicine residents and community OBs onsite
- Cerner EMR
Schedule
- Choose from 12- or 24-hour shifts
- Block scheduling may be possible
- No call responsibilities outside your scheduled shift
- Dates still available this fall
Cases and Procedures
- Labor and delivery focus
- Emergent GYN only; no elective cases
- Approximately 49 unassigned deliveries annually per OBHG team
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in OBGYN
- Active California medical license
