Job Overview – Physician (Outpatient OB/GYN):
Compensation: $210,000/year
Location: Queens, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Take on a key role as a Physician (Outpatient OB/GYN) in Queens, NY with our client’s community health clinic, providing full-scope women’s health services in an outpatient setting. This full-time role is ideal for board-certified OB/GYNs with experience in prenatal care, well-woman exams, and outpatient procedures. You’ll supervise mid-level providers, support quality improvement, and deliver culturally sensitive care. Candidates must be Medicaid-enrolled and licensed to practice in New York State.

Responsibilities as the Physician:
- Direct Patient Care: Deliver OB/GYN services to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients, including exams and preventive care.
- Diagnosis & Treatment: Conduct histories, evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Education & Counseling: Advise patients on prenatal care, reproductive health, nutrition, and chronic condition management.
- Care Coordination: Refer to specialists, collaborate with mid-level providers, and ensure continuity of care.
- Compliance & Supervision: Complete documentation, uphold HIPAA standards, and support clinical staff through training and oversight.
- Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current New York State medical license required; individual Medicaid provider enrollment in NYS is required.
- Certification: Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
- Experience: 2+ years of post-residency clinical experience in OB/GYN outpatient care.
- Language Requirement: Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and clinical documentation protocols.
- Skills & Attributes: Culturally sensitive, team-oriented, and committed to high-quality care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
