Job description
We are seeking a board-certified or truly board-eligible OBGYN physician for a locum tenens assignment in western Kansas. This role offers a mix of clinic, surgical, and 24-hour call coverage, with stretches of 7 or more days per month preferred. Travel and lodging are covered.
Position Highlights:

24-hour call shifts (7 AM–7 AM)

Clinic schedule:
-
3.5 days of OB/GYN clinic (75% GYN, 25% OB)
-
2 half-day surgical blocks per week (4–6 procedures weekly)

Epic EMR (training modules and virtual training must be completed prior to start)
-
Support from midwives, CRNAs, and family medicine OBs
-
In-house lab, imaging, RN, MA, and specialty support
-
NICU Level II coverage available on-site
Responsibilities:
-
Full-scope obstetrics and gynecology services
-
Perform emergency deliveries and gynecological procedures during call shifts

Participate in scheduled clinic and surgical blocks

Manage OB and GYN patients across clinic and inpatient settings
Required Experience:
-
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 0–5 years of residency completion)

Recent procedural experience within the past 24 months:
-
Minimum of 5 C-sections
-
Minimum of 5 hysterectomies

Minimum of 50 deliveries
-

Active Kansas medical license preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Active DEA and BLS certification (DEA must remain active in KS during assignment)

Procedure logs and a self-inquiry NPDB report required at time of presentation

Must be available for both clinic and call
