Job description
We are currently seeking a Board-Certified/Borad Eligible OB/GYN for an exciting Locum Tenens opportunity in ND
Start Date: As soon as credentialed! Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Overview:
Provide OB/GYN care consistent with licensure, privileges, and training
Perform clinical procedures within scope of practice in clinic and OR
Maintain accurate and timely medical records (within 72 hours)
Participate in hospital credentialing, peer review, and professional development
Supervise mid-level providers, nurses, and support staff
Assist hospital with regulatory compliance and community outreach initiatives
Promote the practice and participate in marketing/community events as requested
Collaborate with hospital during claims or litigation if necessary
Cover for other physicians as needed due to leave or professional activities
EMR Systems: Allscripts AEHR, Meditech
Support Staff: Family Practice physician with OB experience, Nurse, CNA
Average Patients per Day: Up to 20
Case Mix: Women’s Health and OB/GYN procedures
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN – REQUIRED
Active North Dakota State Medical License or IMLC license with LOQ in hand – REQUIRED
Completed Residency and Fellowship in OB/GYN – REQUIRED
Current ACLS, BLS certifications – REQUIRED
DEA License – REQUIRED
