We are seeking a Board Certified OB Hospitalist for locum tenens coverage at an acute care hospital in Denver, CO. Please see full job details below.
Job Responsibilities
• 8–10 shifts per month
• Weeknight shifts: Mon–Fri 5p–7a
• Weekend shifts: Sat & Sun 7a–5p
• Approximately 13 deliveries per day
• OB focus: vaginal deliveries, scheduled/emergency C-sections, postpartum hemorrhage management, ectopic pregnancy, D&C
• 400 deliveries per month; mixed complexity population
• Support: 24/7 attending + midwives, 2 CRNAs on L&D, 1 anesthesia attending in-house
Qualifications
• CO state license required
• Minimum 3 years experience (will consider less if interested in locum-to-perm)
• ACLS and BLS required
• DEA required
Working Hours
• Weekdays: 5p–7a
• Weekends: 7a–5p
• No 24-hour call; nights only per schedule
Skills
• EPIC EMR proficiency
• Level I trauma center; Level III nursery
• 550-bed hospital; 15-bed L&D unit w/ 3 ORs in PACU
• Works within mixed model: attendings & midwives
• Access to MFM consults and hospital transfers
