Locum Tenens Opportunity - OB/GYN Physician – Dodge City, KS

📍 Location: Dodge City, Kansas
📅 Start Date: Ongoing needs – beginning as soon as credentialed
⏳ Duration: Minimum 7-day stretches per month (including clinic + 24-hr call)
🩺 Shift Type: 24-hour on-call (7 AM–7 AM)

🏥 Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Board-Certified or Truly Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician to provide full-scope inpatient and outpatient coverage in Dodge City, KS. This is a comprehensive role that combines clinic care, on-call hospital coverage, and surgical blocks – ideal for physicians seeking high-impact locum assignments.

🩺 Scope of Work

• Clinic duties: New/established OB and GYN patients, surgical consultations

• Hospital call: All obstetrics + emergency OB/GYN cases

• Surgical blocks: 2x per week for non-emergent surgeries
  

• Facility NICU Level: Level I

• Backup: General Surgery & Urology available

• Support Team: RNs, MAs, LPNs, Lab Techs, X-Ray Techs, CRNAs

• EMR System: EPIC (mandatory training and module completion before start)

✅ Requirements

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible OB/GYN (within 0–5 years of residency) – Required

• Active Kansas Medical License – Highly Preferred

• BLS Certification – Required

• DEA License – Required (must remain active throughout assignment)

• Clean background & NPDB self-inquiry report – Highly Preferred

• Procedure logs within the last 24 months:

  • At least 50 deliveries

  • Minimum 5 C-sections

  • Minimum 5 hysterectomies – Required for submission

• Willingness to work full schedule (clinic + call shifts) – Required

• EMR (EPIC) training compliance – Must complete all modules/tests before start

• Must be comfortable with both clinic and 24-hr call responsibilities – No exceptions

• ~60 days from license issuance

• Requires payor enrollment

• Must provide full clinical logs and documentation with submission
