OB/GYN Locum Tenens Opportunity
Location: Valley View Medical Center – Fort Mohave, AZ
Start Date: June 5, 2025
Coverage Type: Beeper Call Only
Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
Assignment Highlights:

Ongoing locum coverage needed for scheduled blocks starting June

Upcoming confirmed dates:

June 5–16, 2025

July 17–21, 2025

October 29–November 3, 2025

Low call volume: 1–2 consults and patients seen per 24 hours
-
30-minute call response time
-
Average of 360 deliveries per year
-
No admissions required
Clinical Scope:
-
Routine and complicated deliveries (including VBAC, breech, multiple births)
-
C-sections, repair of 3rd/4th degree lacerations
-
OB ultrasound interpretation (screening and targeted)
-
Office gynecology: IUDs, colposcopy, LEEP, cystoscopy, cryosurgery
-
Minor and major gynecologic surgery (open and laparoscopic)
-
High-risk and trauma cases are transferred
Requirements:
-
Board Certified in OB/GYN
-
Active AZ license or IMLC
-
ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
-
Credentialing: 30–45 days

Temporary privileges available
