Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead the Maternal Fetal Medicine service line, ensuring the highest quality of care for complex cases.
- Provide comprehensive and patient-centered care for individuals with high-risk pregnancies, working closely with specialists to ensure coordinated care.
- Collaborate with administrative and clinical leadership to develop and enhance the Maternal Fetal Medicine program.
- Guide and mentor medical students and residents.
- Share on-call responsibilities with partners predominantly through phone consultations, with hospital visits as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine medical practice experience (excluding training).
- 2+ years of leadership experience or completion of relevant training.
- Not accepting new graduates or candidates with lapsed Board Certification.
- Experience in program development and quality improvement is preferred.
- Preference for candidates with a clean malpractice history.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (required)
- Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine (required)
- Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain) (required)
- DEA certification (or willingness to obtain) (required)
- BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain) (required)
- Open to H1B visa candidates; J1 waivers not accepted.
