Join Our Team as a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician in Grand Rapids, MI!
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled and compassionate full-time Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician to join our Regional Maternal Fetal Medicine team located in Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan. This is a fantastic chance to provide advanced care in a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment, collaborating with specialists to make a significant impact in the lives of patients and their families.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized care in managing high-risk pregnancies and fetal complications.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists to create comprehensive care plans.
- Serve as a Regional Physician primarily in Grand Rapids with some travel to Muskegon as needed.
- Participate in the education and training of medical students and residents.
- Work with an assigned Medical Assistant, Sonographer, and additional support staff at all offices.
- Share on-call duties with the MFM Partner/Medical Director, mostly involving phone calls and occasional hospital visits.
- Welcoming experienced Board Certified providers or truly Board Eligible recent graduates.
- Not accepting candidates with lapsed Board Certification.
- Open to H1B visa candidates, but unable to accept J1 waivers.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required)
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine (Required)
- Current Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain) (Required)
- DEA certification (or willingness to obtain) (Required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain) (Required)
- Clean malpractice history (Highly Preferred)
- Visa support needed (J1 or H1B) (Required)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must be Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine and become Board Certified within 2 years if Board Eligible.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Michigan medical license and DEA certification.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required or must be obtained prior to hiring.
