Job Opportunity: Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine in Grand Rapids, MI
Join a skilled and compassionate team of providers in a dynamic environment as a full-time Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician. You will be part of an advanced care facility that collaborates with specialists in Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan. This position offers the opportunity to manage high-risk pregnancies and fetal complications while positively impacting the lives of patients and their families.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized care in Maternal Fetal Medicine, managing high-risk pregnancies and fetal complications.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists, to create comprehensive care plans.
- Serve primarily in Grand Rapids, with some travel required to Muskegon.
- Participate in the education and training of medical students and residents.
- Work with a dedicated support team, including a Medical Assistant and Sonographer at all offices.
- Share on-call duties with the MFM Partner/Medical Director, mainly through phone consultations and occasional hospital visits.
- Engage with current providers and residency clinics to enhance community care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification (or willingness to obtain).
- BLS and ACLS (or willingness to obtain).
- Clean malpractice history.
- Must require visa support - H1B (note in the application).
- Recent NPDB Self Query report (within 30 days, required for application).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (REQUIRED).
- Board Eligible (to become Board Certified within 2 years of becoming Board Eligible) or Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine (REQUIRED).
- Valid Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain) (REQUIRED).
- DEA certification (or willingness to obtain) (REQUIRED).
- BLS and ACLS (or willingness to obtain) (REQUIRED).
