Job Title: Permanent Medical Director - Maternal Fetal Medicine

Exciting opportunity for a Medical Director to lead a Maternal Fetal Medicine practice in a vibrant, growing community in the Mid-Atlantic. Join our practice at St. Mary’s Hospital, the flagship hospital of a well-respected hospital system located in Richmond, Virginia.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a 2+ MFM practice focused on consult-only services.
• Manage a Level 3 NICU in collaboration with Pediatrix-affiliated Neonatologists.
• Oversee both inpatient and outpatient clinics.
• Utilize Viewpoint and EPIC systems for practice management.
• Assist in developing practice protocols and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Maintain a visible presence in the community and hospital.
• Participate in the educational development of staff and trainees.
• Engage with patients and families to provide high-quality care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN.
• Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Fellowship-trained in MFM.
• Prior leadership experience preferred.
• Clean malpractice and license history.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain.
• BLS and ACLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• DEA certificate must be obtained prior to start.
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
