OBGYN Hospitalist needed in Ohio paying $185.00/hr to $215.00/hr

Position Details:

• Specialty: OBGYN Hospitalist

• Start Date: ASAP

• Contract Length: Ongoing

• Shifts Available: 15–20 per month

  • Primary Need: Weeknight and full weekend coverage (12, 24, or 36-hour shifts)

  • Secondary Need: Weekday day shifts (Monday–Friday)

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Inpatient obstetric and gynecologic coverage, including triage, labor monitoring, and deliveries

• Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries, urgent surgical interventions, and emergency GYN consults

• Manage both assigned and unassigned OB/GYN Emergency Department call

• Assess prenatal, postpartum, and general gynecologic patients

• Educate patients on prenatal/postpartum care, family planning, and overall women’s health

• Collaborate with nurses, midwives, anesthesiologists, and other care team members to ensure high-quality, coordinated care

• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in ongoing medical education

Practice Details:

• Patients per Day: 3–6

• Setting: Inpatient hospital (24-bed facility)

• EMR: Epic

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required

• License: Active Ohio license or IMLC

• Certifications: BLS required

• Experience:

  • Proven experience in labor & delivery, including vaginal and cesarean births

  • Skilled in emergent gynecologic care and surgical intervention

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
