OBGYN Physician Call Assignment - South Carolina, 24-Hour Pager Call
One-week-per-month locums call coverage in South Carolina; pager call only with light daily rounding.
Highlights
- 24-hour pager call from hotel; no in-house coverage required
- 1 week per month ongoing through 2026
- Only 2-4 hours of patient contact daily
Practice Setting
- Inpatient hospital coverage with 4 LDR beds
- Average 1-3 deliveries and 1-3 inpatient rounds per day
- Support from an FNP covering office patients
- EPIC charting
Schedule
- 24-hour call blocks, 8 a.m. to 8 a.m.
- Rounding required on inpatients daily, including weekends
- Orientation required prior to first shift (weekday, half day)
Cases and Procedures
- Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- ED consults for OBGYN patients
- 2-4 NSTs or observations daily
- No circumcisions required
Requirements
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active South Carolina license, CSR, and DEA required
- Must be comfortable with both deliveries and C-sections
