OBGYN Hospitalist Opportunity in Ohio – Ongoing Contract

Patients Per Day: 3-6
Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient coverage, triage, and emergency consultations for OB/GYN patients.

Monitor labor progress, conduct deliveries (both vaginal and cesarean), and perform necessary surgical interventions.

Respond to OB/GYN emergencies, including urgent gynecological consults and surgical procedures.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, midwives, and anesthesiologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Participate in patient education on prenatal/postpartum care, family planning, and women's health.

Maintain accurate medical records and stay up to date with advancements in obstetrics and gynecology.

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required
-
License: OH license or eligible for IMLC

Certifications: BLS

Experience: Strong background in labor/delivery management, including vaginal and cesarean births, as well as gynecologic surgical interventions.

Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
