Schedule: 13-hour shifts, nights, times are 7p-8a. (12hr shift, and then final hour is for handoffs.)
Call requirements: no call
Work Details:
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 10-15 shifts/mo
• Patients per day: fluctuates. Active labor management is generally 5-8 patients/night. Generally 1-2 ED consult/night
• Patient population/age: adult
• Department description:
• EMR: epic
• Special procedures: bread and butter OB hospitalist. Expierence with operative deliveries including forceps greatly preferred. **Please note that this facility does perform abortions. They will not ask the locum to perform abortions, but locum will be responsible for taking care of any complications that may arise from an abortion.
• Skills required: Experience working with midwives preferrred. Spanish speaking skills preferred.
