They also provide extensive breastfeeding support, prenatal education, and nurse midwifery programs. Charlton Memorial Hospital currently sees approximately 1,400 annual deliveries.
We are currently seeking physicians for full-time, part-time, or per diem roles.
Benefits of being an internal 1099 with OB Stat are higher hourly rates, travel and malpractice covered, active sites in over 40 states plus priority scheduling in front of external 1099s and no shift commitments. We can customize your schedule to avoid any conflicts with your FT practice. Working only 2 shifts a month is an extra 100k per year.

- Average Hospital Deliveries monthly: 116
- Annual average Hospital deliveries: 1400
- Estimated Non-Delivery Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (monthly): 120
- In-house Anesthesia is 24/7
- 5 Postpartum rooms
- MFM contract with Women & Infants for Program and Site Director Services, provide consultative services inpatient and office services as well being on-site half day per week
- EMR - Epic
Job Responsibilities
• Perform Circumcisions
• First Assist
• Backup Midwives
• Local and private OB’s backup available to Hospitalist
• Not Backup to hospital employed CNM’s or FPP’s
• L&D Triage with local groups covering their own patients
Qualifications
• Active state license, DEA, CSR
• Minimum 150 deliveries the past 24 months
• Minimum 25 GYN surgeries the last 24 months
