Locums | OB/GYN | Call Only | Marshfield, WI Why This Role

  • Facility seeking locums to support inpatient OB/GYN call coverage
  • Flexible need: 6 in-house call shifts per month
  • Supportive environment with subspecialty backup (MFM, Gyn Onc, NICU)
Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Call Only Schedule: 6 days/month, restricted in-house 24-hour OB call Post-call day provided after each call shift Call Ratio: 1:2 Patients per Shift: 5–10 inpatient census, 3–5 admissions Call Back: Required EMR: Cerner Requirements Board Certified Active WI license or willing to obtain BLS, PALS Clinical Details Obstetrics: - Low risk pregnancy - High risk pregnancy (preferred) - FHR interpretation – NST/CST/FSE - OB ultrasounds – Level I & II - Amniocentesis - Routine deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, c-section decision-making) - Complicated deliveries (c-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBACs) - Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Gynecology: - Surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, operative/major) - Emergencies as needed - Circumcisions required Support: 4 RNs, 7 MAs, 4 APPs, 5 office staff Setting: Children’s hospital with NICU on site Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
