OB/GYN Physician Position in Pueblo, Colorado

Join a dedicated team at a renowned medical facility in Pueblo, Colorado. Our facility boasts a rich history, having been founded in 1923. With 350 beds and a level III trauma center, we provide exceptional care to our community. The setting offers two outpatient locations, allowing for a diverse and engaging work environment focused on women’s health.

Job Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, interested in working full-time, and focused on excellent patient care.
• Provide care at UCHealth Parkview Medical Center.
• Be part of an experienced OB/GYN group comprising six physicians and four certified nurse midwives.
• Balance practice between OB and GYN, with a 50/50 split, across two outpatient clinics.
• Manage approximately 20 patients seen in clinic each day.
• Enjoy a 4-day work week with opportunities to explore beautiful Colorado on your day off.
• Participate in a call schedule of 1:5, with CNM first call most nights.
• Utilize 2 daVinci XI robots with easy access to OR time.
• Work with EMR: Epic.
• Note: Cannot accept visa candidates or locums candidates.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency) in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
• Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice history - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - REQUIRED
• DEA must be obtained prior to start - REQUIRED

Licenses and Certifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Must hold a Colorado medical license or have plans to obtain
• DEA registration is required
