Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Physician to work locum shifts in Bakersfield, CA. Starting in January 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
· EMR: Cerner
· 8 shifts per month needed
· 24 hr shifts- 8:30 AM- 8:30 AM
· NICU Level II
· Required GYN coverage
· Circumcisions Not Required
· Type of Patients/Cases: Adults
· Patients per Day/Volume: 425 Patient Encounters Monthly, 52 Deliveries per month for Hospitalists
· Support Staff: In-House Anesthesia and MFM on call
Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
- CA state license; active, unrestricted
- Board certified OBGYN
- CA State DEA
- ACLS, BLS, MSQA, TEE and FHM
- MUST have at least 100 minimum deliveries (not assisted) in past 24 months and approx. 25 GYN cases in past 12 months (Logs required during credentialing)
