Details: Schedule: Clinic Mon-Thus is 9a – 4:30p and Fri is 9a – 3:30p. 24 hour call from 7am Sunday – 7am Monday.Call-back Percentage: Weekdays 2 Weekend 5 OB 20 GYN 80Locum tenens will work at satellite locations: NoDates of Coverage: ASAP to August 2025Reason for coverage: loss of Physicians in the communityCaseload: Percentage of the Practice: Low risk pregnancy 40 High risk pregnancy 30 C-Section 30 Office GYN 80 Surgical GYN 20Average number of patients per day: Clinic 20 Hospital 1-2Average number of deliveries per physician: 3Average number of GYN Surgeries per week: Clinic 1-3 Hospital 1-2OB/GYNs in your group: 5Mid-levels: 3.5Locum tenens physician required to supervise other healthcare providers: NoOther OB/GYNs be present during locum tenens coverage: YesWorksite Resources: Onsite Lab amp Ultrasound Performed by TechNo. of exam rooms: 12Office ancillary staff: 1/1 MA coverage Sonographer 3 front desk 1 surgical schedulerDocumentation: EMR for Clinic and HospitalHospital Services: Locum tenens will require hospital privileges: YesTime needed to obtain privileges: 90 daysNumber of hospitals the locum tenens will cover: 1Facility: UCHealth ParkviewTotal number of beds: 350Trauma level IIIReferral/Transfer protocol: in-house UCH Doc LineLocum tenens will be involved in covering/supervising teaching services residents/fellows: Yes oversee Community Health Center CNM's with c-sectionRequired Areas/Procedures: Low risk pregnancy – Pt’s with pre-existing problems history of twins history of toxemiapyelonephritis hyperemesisetc.High risk pregnancy – Pt.’s with toxemia diabetes Class II or higher cardiacs chronic lung problems chronic renal disease etc. FHR interpretation – NST/CST/FSE OB ultrasounds - Level I/screening viability amp Level II/targeted anatomic Routine delivery–Vaginal low forceps decision-making for C-section Complicated delivery –C-section breech multiple births abruptions etc. VBAC’s Repair of 3rd amp 4th degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology –IUD Cystoscopy colposcopy cryosurgery LEEP etc. Surgical gynecology *– open laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only –tubal ligation LOA’s chromal tubation amp operative/major includes diagnostic – ectopic pregnancy ovary removal cystectomy extensive LOA’s *DEFINITIONS: Surgical gynecology – DampC Hysterectomy uterine suspension anterior/posterior repair tumor resection incontinence and infertility procedures repair of bowel injury appendectomy Preferred Areas/Procedures: OB ultrasounds – Performance of amp InterpretationTravel Requirements:Must send provider flights and lodging info 4 weeks before start. Flights - Up to 750 RT capLodging - Reimbursed by Receipt - up to 150 total per night cap.Car rental - Reimbursed by Receipt - up to an economy car cap.Mileage - IRS Standard Rate.
