Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Physician to work locum shifts in Jackson Mississippi (MS). Starting as soon as possible, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
- EMR system: Cerner
- Reason for Coverage: New program
- Coverage Timeframe Needed: Open ended
- Shift Amount available/ Shift Time: 24hr shifts
- Expected patients per day: 5-8
- Estimated Hospital Deliveries for Hospitalists: TBD
- NICU Level: 1
- MFM on site?: No, but have consult
- ANES on site: TBD
- Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: No
- Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: No
- Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: Yes
- First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
- Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: No
- Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
- Job Setting: Inpatient
Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
- MS state license; active, unrestricted
- Board certified OBGYN
- MS State DEA
- BLS, ACLS, FHM
- Covid Vaccination- Required or Medical Exemption
- 100 deliveries in past 24 months no assisted, but preformed
- 25 GYN Cases in the last 12 months
