Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - OB/GYN in Flint, MI

Join a dedicated team at a Level III trauma hospital located in the heart of Flint, Michigan. This position is exclusively for 24-hour call coverage with no clinic responsibilities, providing an opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care in a supportive environment. As part of a robust medical group, you'll be backed by experienced hospital staff while managing patient loads averaging five per day, utilizing CERNER for patient records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour on-call OB/GYN coverage.
• Manage a daily caseload of approximately five patients.
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and procedures.
• Participate in patient consultations and emergency procedures as needed.
• Coordinate with support staff and other medical professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified OBGYN (No Board Eligible candidates accepted).
• Current Michigan Medical License and CSR at the time of submission.
• BLS certification required.
• Provider must be local with a clean background for quick credentialing.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
• Willingness to provide all necessary documentation and availability details.

License and Certification Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Board Certification in OBGYN
• Valid Michigan Medical License
• Current DEA status with verbal confirmation required at time of name clear
• Immunization documentation for Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, Covid, and TB
